| Don't forget the Spring! (I did, once) |
The lower of the two pistons in each of the rear brake cylinders were seized with crud. I spent the day removing, cleaning, rebuilding and replacing both sides. Got it all back together, bled the system, and took a short drive. All is well and the Bugeye can now go on the lift for a new static oil leak problem that has just occurred. Back to work for two weeks tomorrow, so it'll be awhile before another post. I expect to get the car licensed soon!
