For those of you who stop in occasionally, not much has happened Stag-wise this winter. I had planned on getting the old girl on the road this summer, but I will, instead, be spending the bulk of the summer in Memphis. I am upgrading to Captain on the 757 at Fedex, with a class date of June 7, so the Stag once again goes on the back burner. Just to show I have not been totally slack, here are pictures of the steering rack and pump I just got back from Atlantic Automotive. Also, we said goodbye to our horses this spring and I corresponded with Gary Thomas at Ameristeel in Fort Worth about converting the barn (which I purchased from them five years ago) into a garage. The concrete was poured last week and the remodelling is in progress. That will give me a place for the Bugeye and Stag year round. Up to this point, the Bugeye had to weather the winters under a tent. Also, Bob and I put a new transmission in the Bugeye a few months ago, and I just got a new Weber 40 DCOE for it as well.
